- We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with strong expertise in COBOL/400 and IBM COBOL to support and
- understanding of banking processes and exposure to IBM i (AS/400) environments. Knowledge of Java will be an added
- advantage for integration and modernization initiatives.
Skills Required :
- Strong hands-on experience in IBM COBOL and COBOL/400
- Good knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) systems
- Solid understanding of RPG, CL, and DB2/400 (preferred)
- Experience in banking or financial domain (highly preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on legacy systems and up-to-date integration layers
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Work on Bankmate banking platform enhancements and issue resolution
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and QA teams
- Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with banking standards
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives
Good to have :
- Working knowledge of Java.
- Experience with Bankmate or similar core banking systems
- Familiarity with API integrations and modernization frameworks
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
