Job Description - Accounts Manager / Finance Manager

Position Overview

The role requires excellent analytical ability, leadership skills, and the capability to manage end-to-end accounting operations in a fast-paced diagnostics/healthcare setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including:

- Accounts Payable & Receivable

- General Ledger

- Bank Reconciliation

- Journal Entries

- Month-end & Year-end Closing

- Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.

- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

- Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and accounting records.

Compliance & Taxation

- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance documentation.
- Manage internal and statutory audits.

Software & Systems

- Operate and manage accounting processes using CBO software .
- Ensure accuracy of financial data within ERP/accounting systems.
- Improve financial workflows and reporting efficiency through system optimization.

Financial Controls & Reporting

- Develop and implement internal financial controls.




- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Prepare variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost-control reports.

Team Management

- Lead and supervise the accounts team.
- Ensure smooth coordination between finance, operations, procurement, and management teams.
- Train and mentor junior finance staff.

Required Qualifications

- Mandatory : Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) :

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

- 5-10+ years of relevant experience in accounts and finance management.

- Prior experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or related industry preferred.

- Hands-on experience with CBO software is mandatory.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Expertise in GST, TDS, taxation, and audit processes.
- Advanced MS Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in diagnostics, pathology, or healthcare industry.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strategic financial planning and business analysis capabilities.
