Position : Accounts Executive Department : Finance & Accounts Location : PCMC Reporting To : Accounts Manager
Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive with hands-on experience in GST compliance, reconciliations, and day-to-day operations & accounting operations. The role requires strong coordination, accuracy, and working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably in a logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Compliance
- Handling GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensuring timely compliance
- Preparation and tracking of GST, TDS, PF, ESI & LWF challans and statutory payments :
- Maintaining accurate books of accounts as per company policies
Receivables & Payables (AR/AP)
- Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) cycles
- Conducting customer and vendor reconciliations :
- Follow-up for outstanding payments and resolving discrepancies
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Performing bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny :
- Assisting in Trial Balance preparation :
- Supporting MIS reporting and data tracking
Billing & Invoicing
- Preparing billing and verifying invoices as per GST norms :
- Ensuring accurate billing aligned with logistics operations.
- Tracking invoice status and coordination with operations team
ERP & Systems
- Working on ERP systems (Tally / SAP / Logistics ERP) :
- Maintaining data accuracy and proper documentation
- Generating reports and tracking financial transactions
Key Requirements
- Education : B.Com / M.Com or equivalent
- Experience : 2-5 years in accounting role (logistics / manufacturing industry preferred)
- Technical Skills :
- GST, TDS, Payment Sheets, different filings
- AR/AP reconciliation
- Trial Balance understanding
- ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or logistics ERP)
- Other Skills :
- Strong attention to detail
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to handle deadlines and multiple tasks
Preferred Profile
- Experience in logistics / transport / supply chain company, manufacturing :
- Exposure to high-volume invoicing and vendor management
