The Dental Assistant supports dentists and clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care by preparing treatment areas, assisting during dental procedures, maintaining clinical hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth patient flow within the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assistance
- A ssist dentists during dental procedures and treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments before procedures.
- Provide chairside assistance during examinations and treatments.
- Handle suction, instrument passing, and patient support during procedures.
Infection Control & Sterilization
- lean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment as per protocol.
- Maintain hygiene and infection control standards in treatment areas.
- Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste.
Patient Care & Support
- Prepare patients for treatment and make them comfortable.
- Provide pre
- and post-treatment instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Manage patient movement and ensure smooth patient flow.
In ventory & Equipment Management**
- Maintain stock of dental materials and consumables.
- Monitor instrument condition and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure dental equipment is functional and properly stored.
Documentation & Coordination
- Assist in maintaining patient records and treatment details.
- Coordinate with front desk and clinical teams for patient scheduling and readiness.
- Support treatment coordinators when required.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
- Strong hygiene and sterilization practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic.
- Positive communication and patient handling skills.
- Team-oriented attitude and discipline.
- Attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
Q u alifications & Experience
- **Dental Assistant Certification/Relevant Healthcare Training preferred.
- Freshers with training or experienced assistants may apply.
- Prior dental clinic experience preferred.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
