Position/Title: Sr. Manager/Manager

Accountable To: General Manager Operation

Qualification: Diploma / B Tech - Mechanical / Auto Ancillary/ Automobile

Experience: 12+ Years or above

Package : 10 LPA to 12 LPA

PROFILE SUMMARY : Sr. Manager with nearly 12 years of experience with min 3 years in Management role & Knowledge in manufacturing systems, Engineering, PFMEA, Six Sigma, SPC, Poka-Yoke, Kaizen Techniques, TPM, 5S.

ROLE : Interacts routinely with concerned Division / Department functional areas, as well as with customers.

RESPONSIBILITY & DUTIES :

1. Raw Material inspection includes chemical composition, Inclusions, Grain size, Jominy test Hardness, Microstructure etc.

2. Approval of Raw material to next operation and inform to purchase team in case material got rejected or Hold.

3. Test certificates Approval.

4. Control on HT processes (Normalizing, Annealing, Hardening & Tempering, Case Carburizing etc.)

5. Review & monitor idle run of furnaces & take necessary action to reduce idle hours.

6. Review & reduce consumption of HT consumables items. (L.P.G, Electricity, quenching oil fixtures etc.)

7. 100% implementation of CQI9 standard.

8. Upgradation of Lab Equipment’s as per customer and system requirements.

9. Daily Monitoring and analysis of hardness & microstructure process wise.

10. Review & reduce consumption of Lab consumables items.

11. Implementation of quality core tools like MSA, FMEA, SPC, PPAP & 7QC tools

To reduce internal & external customer complaints on account of metallurgy

13. IATF16949:2016 & CQI9 implementation.

14. Review internal/External audit report.

15. Ensure necessary work setting for Heat Treatment.

16. Fixtures life Monitoring.

17. Full capacity Utilization of Furnaces.

18. Work allocation to ensure quality activities.

19. Abnormality Handling & Process Improvement.

20. Manpower development to achieve schedule target.

21. Control of documents.

DESIRABLE SKILLS :

1. To review and decide final disposition in case of non-conformance.

2. To review and initiate the requirement of resources and to get approval from MD.

3. Ability to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organization demands.

4. Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, quality management systems, and standard cost systems.
