Job Position: Hotel Technician / Maintenance Technician
Department: Engineering / Maintenance
Reporting To: Chief Engineer / Engineering Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out daily maintenance and repair work in guest rooms and public areas.
- Attend guest complaints related to electrical, plumbing, AC, TV, lighting, and fixtures.
- Maintain HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and hotel equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance as per hotel SOP.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Check DG set, pumps, boilers, water systems, and fire safety equipment.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and front office for room maintenance issues.
- Maintain maintenance logs and records.
- Follow safety procedures and hotel policies.
- Support emergency repair work whenever required.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and air-conditioning.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Valuable communication and teamwork.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Knowledge of hotel maintenance SOPs.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration & AC.
- Experience in hotel maintenance preferred.
Experience
- 1-3 years experience in hotel engineering or maintenance department preferred.
