We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Server / Kitchen Helper to support our chefs at Aha! Baangali. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in the restaurant industry and is willing to learn the basics of a skilled kitchen and how to serve customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks - peeling, cutting, washing vegetables and proteins
- Set up and organize ingredients and equipment before service begins
- Ensure smooth flow of ingredients and supplies to cooking stations
- Wash and sanitize utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors and storage areas
- Dispose of kitchen waste safely and in compliance with hygiene norms
- Receive and store food deliveries under supervision
- Follow all safety and hygiene instructions given by the Chef team
Qualifications & Requirements
- No formal qualification required - freshers welcome
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety is a plus
- Physically fit - role involves standing for long hours and carrying loads
- Punctual, honest and hardworking with a positive attitude
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends and on festive days
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Prior experience in any restaurant or canteen
- Basic knowledge of Bengali ingredients and cooking terms
- Ability to follow verbal instructions quickly and accurately
Pay: ₹12,086.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
