Job Summary : S1 Café is looking for a reliable and hardworking Commercial Kitchen Helper to assist our kitchen team with daily food preparation, cleaning, and organization. This role is important in maintaining a clean, efficient, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities :
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, trays, and cooking tools
- Help with stocking and organizing kitchen supplies
- Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain hygiene standards
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen staff during busy service hours
Requirements :
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
- Punctual and reliable
