We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Captain who can lead floor operations and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
Job Summary
The Restaurant Captain will be responsible for supervising daily restaurant floor operations, guiding service staff, ensuring smooth coordination with the kitchen, and maintaining high hospitality standards aligned with premium boutique dining.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant floor operations during assigned shifts
- Lead and coordinate stewards and service associates
- Ensure proper table setup and service standards are maintained
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Upsell menu items and recommend chef specials
- Monitor order-taking and billing accuracy
- Coordinate with kitchen for timely food service
- Maintain hygiene and grooming standards of staff
- Ensure POS compliance and proper settlement procedures
- Assist in training new staff members
- Ensure daily briefing and shift handover procedures
Experience :
- Minimum 2-4 years experience as Captain / Senior Steward in a hotel or premium standalone restaurant
- Experience in boutique hotels or heritage properties preferred
Education :
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management preferred
Skills Required :
- Strong leadership and team coordination
- Excellent communication skills (English mandatory; Hindi required)
- Guest handling and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of service standards (fine dining / semi-fine dining)
- Basic wine & beverage knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹18,000 - ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience)
