Role Description The Junior Consultant Radiologist will work full time in office at Vedanta Imaging and Scan Centre in Khammam Rural, providing radiological interpretation and reporting services. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing imaging studies (such as X-ray, ultrasound and CT are available), preparing clear and concise reports, and discussing findings with referring healthcare professionals as needed. The role involves participating in quality assurance activities, adhering to established protocols and radiation safety standards, and supporting the implementation of best practices in imaging. The Junior Consultant Radiologist will also contribute to patient-centered care by ensuring timely reporting, maintaining qualified communication,



and assisting in continuous improvement of diagnostic services.

Qualifications

- Completed MBBS and MD/DNB in Radiology (or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification).
- Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice as a Radiologist as per local regulatory requirements.
- Strong foundational skills in image interpretation across common modalities (e.g., X-ray, ultrasound and CT, as available at the centre).
- Ability to draft accurate, structured, and timely radiology reports with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and adherence to diagnostic imaging protocols and quality standards.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clinicians, technical staff, and patients in a professional manner.
- Comfort working in a high-throughput environment, with strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
- Willingness to participate in case discussions, peer review, and ongoing training within the centre.
- Prior experience in a diagnostic centre or hospital radiology department is an advantage but not mandatory for strong junior candidates.
