Role Description This is a full time, on-site Area Sales Manager role based in Mumbai. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within an assigned territory, including managing key accounts, developing new business, and ensuring achievement of sales targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and conducting regular customer visits to build strong, long-term relationships. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams on pricing, promotions, and supply, preparing sales reports and forecasts,



and guiding field sales staff to meet performance objectives.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in area or regional sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong skills in territory planning, account management, and business development.
- Ability to analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and implement effective sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound organizational and time-management skills, with capability to work independently and lead field teams.
- Proficiency in basic office software and digital tools for reporting, forecasting, and presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or a relevant industry sector in the Mumbai region is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required for client meetings and market visits.
