A Cashier Executive is a retail qualified responsible for managing customer transactions, ensuring financial accuracy, and often overseeing front-end operations to maintain high service standards.

Core Responsibilities

- Transaction Management : Accurately process sales using Point of Sale (POS) systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments.
- Financial Accountability : Balance cash drawers at the start and end of shifts, reconcile daily revenue against receipts, and investigate any discrepancies.
- Customer Excellence : Greet customers, answer product inquiries, and resolve escalated complaints or billing issues with professionalism.
- Sales & Promotion : Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell products and assist customers with store loyalty programs or promotional offers.
- Operational Support : Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, assist with inventory management (stocking/restocking), and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Technical Proficiency :



Strong familiarity with POS systems , barcode scanners, and basic computer software.

- Numerical Aptitude : Ability to calculate totals, taxes, and change quickly and accurately without relying solely on technology.

- Soft Skills :

- Communication : Clear verbal skills for interacting with customers and team members.

- Attention to Detail : Meticulousness in scanning items and handling money to prevent fraud or errors.

- Conflict Resolution : Patience and calm demeanor when dealing with difficult or frustrated customers.

- Education & Experience :

- Typically requires a High School Diploma or GED.

- Freshers / Collage Students / Experience are welcome.
