Job Summary

The F&B; Cashier is responsible for handling billing and payment transactions for food and beverage services in the hotel. The role ensures accurate billing, smooth coordination with service staff, and excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing & Transactions

- Generate accurate bills for restaurant, bar, room service, and banquets
- Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and digital methods
- Handle foreign currency transactions (if applicable)

2. POS System Operations

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently
- Ensure all orders are correctly entered and billed
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for order updates

3. Cash Handling

- Maintain cash float and ensure proper cash management
- Balance cash register at the start and end of each shift
- Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile discrepancies

4. Guest Service

- Greet guests politely during billing
- Address billing queries and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain professionalism and a courteous attitude

5. Coordination

- Work closely with waiters,



bartenders, and supervisors
- Ensure smooth communication between service and billing teams

6. Record Keeping & Reporting

- Maintain transaction records and billing reports
- Assist in audits by providing required documentation
- Ensure compliance with hotel financial procedures

7. Hygiene & Compliance

- Follow hotel policies and financial controls
- Maintain cleanliness of cashier desk and equipment

Required Skills :

- Basic accounting and numerical skills
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash responsibly

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent (Commerce background preferred)
- 2-4 years of experience in cashiering, preferably in hospitality

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
