HR Executive acting as an HR Generalist. The role is hands-on, focusing on end-to-end recruitment, building the following from scratch - payroll processing, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC), leave management, and fostering a positive company culture.
- Payroll : Process monthly attendance, calculate leaves, and coordinate payroll inputs for timely salary disbursements.
- Benefits : Administer employee benefits such as health insurance (mediclaim) and performance incentives.
3. Statutory Compliance (India-Specific)
- Labor Laws : Ensure company policies align with Indian labor regulations.
- Statutory Deductions : Coordinate with tax and finance consultants to ensure timely deposit of Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESIC), and Qualified Tax (PT).
4. Performance & Employee Relations
- Appraisals : Coordinate annual and mid-year performance review cycles.
- Grievance Resolution : Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving interpersonal conflicts and answering policy queries.
5. HR Administration & Culture
- Policies : Draft and update the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and employee handbooks.
- Engagement : Organize team-building activities and events to maintain high morale and retention.
- Experience : 1 to 3 years of hands-on HR experience in an SME.
- Education : A Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources or a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
- Skills : Strong empathy skills; very good listener,
