About the role
We're hiring an HR Manager to own the people function end-to-end as we scale. You'll be the go-to person for everything from hiring great talent to keeping our existing team engaged, supported, and growing. This is a hands-on, full-spectrum role — you'll recruit, onboard, run HR operations, build culture, and roll out learning and performance programs. If you enjoy building people processes from the ground up and being close to both leadership and the wider team, this role is for you.
What you'll doTalent acquisition & recruiting
- Build and maintain a healthy talent pipeline across roles; manage job postings, sourcing channels, recruitment agencies, and referral programs.
- Run structured interview processes and improve them over time (scorecards, calibration, interviewer training).
- Strengthen our employer brand on LinkedIn, careers page, and hiring platforms.
HR operations & compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HRIS data.
- Manage payroll inputs, leave, attendance, full-and-final settlements, and advantages administration in coordination with finance.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, POSH, etc., as applicable).
- Draft, update, and enforce HR policies, the employee handbook, and SOPs.
Employee engagement & culture
- Run a smooth onboarding experience so every new hire feels set up to succeed from day one.
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives, town halls, team offsites, recognition programs, and feedback surveys.
- Be the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution — handle sensitive matters with discretion and fairness.
- Track engagement and attrition signals; partner with leadership on retention.
Learning & performance
- Design and run the performance management cycle — goal-setting, mid-year reviews,
annual appraisals, and feedback frameworks.
- Identify learning needs and build a calendar of training programs, workshops, and mentoring opportunities.
- Support career development conversations and internal mobility.
People analytics & reporting
- Maintain dashboards on key HR metrics — headcount, hiring funnel, time-to-fill, attrition, engagement, training hours.
- Use data to inform leadership decisions on people strategy.
What we're looking for
- 4-7 years of HR experience in a growing company, ideally with end-to-end generalist exposure (recruiting + ops + engagement).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field. MBA in HR is a plus.
- Strong recruiting chops — you've personally closed roles across functions, not just managed agencies.
- Working knowledge of labour law and statutory compliance applicable to companies of our size.
- Comfort with HRIS / ATS tools (e.g., Keka, Zoho People, Darwinbox, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar).
- Excellent communication, judgment, and people skills — you can have hard conversations with empathy.
- High ownership: you can build processes from scratch and don't wait to be told what to do.
- Strong with data and spreadsheets; you back decisions with numbers.
Nice to have
- Prior experience scaling HR at a company going from ~50 to 250+ employees.
- Experience setting up performance management or L&D; frameworks from the ground up.
- POSH committee training and certification.
What you'll get
- A seat at the leadership table and real ownership of the people function.
- Competitive salary, performance-linked incentives, and benefits.
- A team that takes culture and growth seriously.
- The opportunity to shape how we hire, develop, and retain talent as we scale.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
