Delivery Lead / Senior Project Manager - UK regulatory

Role & responsibilities

- Act as the Project / Program Delivery Lead for UK Commercial Banking programs.
- Lead the Project team by providing project management and consultancy services on project/ system implementation, workflow design, and process re-engineering across different Streams of UK Regulatory projects
- Collaborate and manage stakeholders to deliver aligned outcomes, strong governance and effective change adoption.
- Identify opportunities to leverage shared capabilities, best practices, and reusable solutions across UK Tech to improve cost, speed, and control.
- Evaluate current processes from front-to-back to identify inefficiencies to drive simplification, ensuring streamlined operations and enhanced productivity.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) as appropriate to measure the success of initiatives, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure Controls compliance across portfolio




- Foster a highly engaged team for the delivery of initiatives that meet/ exceed business targets.
- Plan and strategize to adopt AI efficiency for the UK Regulatory Portfolio
- Ensure Standing tooling is applied across the Portfolio
- Portfolio Governance and Reporting including Financials

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 12+ years of Banking Tech experience in managing large, complex Programs and Portfolios. Team lead experience would be an advantage.
- Understanding of Regulatory environment the Bank operates in
- Solid background and previous experience in Banks Project Management methodology and tooling.
- Previous experience in managing OKRs, PI Planning, QBRs, Controls environment.
- Tech experience in Release management and knowledge of incident management.
- Ability to work in an agile environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Communication and Stakeholder management.
- Excellent sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
- Engineering and AI credentials would be an added qualifications.
