- Nextal Automation is looking for a Head of Sales to lead its sales function and build the organisation from the ground up. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will own revenue growth for our end-of-line automation solutions (case erecting, packing, palletizing and complete EOL lines), managing the full sales cycle from lead generation and technical discussion through proposal, negotiation and order closure. You will develop strategic accounts across FMCG, food and beverage, pharma, packaging and automotive, open export markets in Europe, USA and the Middle East, and work closely with engineering to scope and price solutions competitively. You will also build and mentor a team of sales engineers and regional managers, set up CRM and MIS reporting,
and manage collections and customer relationships after the sale. The ideal candidate holds a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Automation (MBA preferred), has 5 to 10 years of capital equipment or industrial automation sales experience with at least 5 years in leadership, and a proven record of closing projects from 50 lakh to multi-crore. Working knowledge of packaging machinery, conveyors, robotics and PLC-based systems, an existing network among packaging and manufacturing decision makers, robust negotiation skills and willingness to travel extensively are essential
