We are looking for a creative and experienced Fashion Designer with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in fashion designing or garment production to join our team.

The candidate will be responsible for handling the complete garment design and development process, ensuring quality, timely production, and coordination with the tailoring and production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop new garments and fashion collections according to current trends and customer requirements.
- Prepare design concepts, sketches, references, and garment specifications.
- Handle the complete garment development process from design to final product.
- Coordinate with tailors, pattern makers, embroidery teams, and other production staff.
- Prepare and explain garment measurements, patterns, stitching details, and finishing requirements.
- Monitor the quality and fitting of garments during production.
- Make necessary corrections and alterations to ensure the final garment meets design standards.
- Select suitable fabrics, colours, trims, embellishments, and accessories.
- Ensure garments are completed within the required timeline.




- Maintain proper coordination between the design and garment production sections.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and techniques.
- Assist in developing new designs and collections for the boutique.
- Maintain proper records of designs, measurements, samples, and production details.

Requirements

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in fashion designing, garment designing, or garment production.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and stitching.
- Good understanding of fabrics, patterns, measurements, and finishing.
- Ability to develop designs from concept to finished garment.
- Good knowledge of current fashion trends.
- Strong creativity and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple designs/work orders.
- Experience working in a boutique, garment unit, or fashion industry will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Ladies' wear / ethnic wear design experience.
- Knowledge of embroidery and embellishment techniques.
- Pattern-making and garment construction knowledge.
- Ability to coordinate and guide tailoring staff.

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
