- Create, develop, and modify CNC programs using SolidCAM.
- Generate toolpaths for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis VMC machines as per component requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T.;
- Perform CAM programming, toolpath simulation, and collision checking.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
- Generate and verify G-code and M-code for CNC machines.
- Optimize machining cycles to improve productivity and reduce tool wear.
- Coordinate with the production team during machine setup and first-piece machining.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per drawing specifications.
- Work with the Quality Department for inspection and corrective actions.
- Maintain CNC programs, setup sheets, tool lists, and machining documentation.
- Follow aerospace quality standards, safety procedures, and company requirements.
