Experience: 3–5 years in Java full stack development
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on skills)
About the role:
We are building a new travel platform – a premium holiday website plus a marketplace for travel agents. We already have an existing software built on Java (Spring Boot), Angular and PostgreSQL, running on Hetzner Cloud. Our recent customer-facing website is built in Next.js. You will work closely with our senior technical lead, who will guide your work and review your code.
What you will do:
- Build REST APIs in Spring Boot (packages, itineraries, enquiries / leads, media)
- Build and improve screens in our Angular application (admin panel, lead management, package add / edit)
- Work on the Next.js website: connect pages with APIs, fix issues
- Fix bugs and improve the existing code
- Make database changes through Flyway migrations, as approved by the tech lead
- Write clean, tested code and raise pull requests for review
- Later modules: agent login, lead distribution, payments (Razorpay)
Must have:
- 3–5 years of Java full stack development
- Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate, REST APIs
- Angular/Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Good SQL with PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Git and pull-request based workflow
- Comfortable working on an existing codebase
Good to have:
- Next.js / React
- Spring Security / JWT login
- Razorpay or any payment gateway integration
- Docker and Linux server basics
Working style:
- Full-time, regular day-time working hours
- Short daily call with the tech lead
