Lead – Legal to manage legal, contractual, compliance, and regulatory matters across the Electronics Products & Systems business. The role will provide strategic legal support to business, operations, procurement, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams, while safeguarding the organization's interests and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The incumbent will play a critical role in contract management, litigation handling, risk mitigation, corporate governance, intellectual property protection, and commercial negotiations for domestic and international business operations.

Contract Management & Commercial Support
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, NDAs, MoUs, supply agreements, customer contracts, channel partner agreements, technology licensing agreements, and service contracts.
Provide legal support for bids, tenders, customer proposals, and strategic business transactions.
Advise business teams on contractual risks and mitigation strategies.
Standardize legal templates and contract governance processes.
Legal Advisory & Risk Management
Provide proactive legal advice to management and business stakeholders.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and commercial risks.
Support strategic business decisions from a legal and compliance perspective.




Develop risk assessment frameworks and legal governance mechanisms.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
Develop strategies for dispute avoidance and effective claim management.
Monitor legal proceedings and ensure timely resolution.
Regulatory Compliance & Corporate Governance
Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, labor, environmental, data privacy, and industry-specific regulations.
Support governance requirements and policy implementation.
Conduct compliance reviews and internal legal audits.
Drive legal awareness and compliance training programs.
Intellectual Property Management
Support patent, trademark, copyright, and technology protection initiatives.
Coordinate with R&D; and engineering teams on IP-related matters.
Partner with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, HR, Finance, and R&D; teams on legal matters.
Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and strategic collaborations where applicable.
Participate in key commercial negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners.

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
LLM or specialization in Corporate/Commercial Law preferred.
Experience

- 10–15+ years of post-qualification experience in Legal, Commercial Contracts, Compliance, and Corporate Law.
- Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, Industrial Products, EPC, Energy, Technology, or Automotive sectors preferred.
- Strong exposure to contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working in a corporate legal function within a large organization is desirable.
