QA / Test Engineer for Wualt and Nexus
Wualt is a personal-safety platform: a smart ring and app, a live response centre, and a real-time emergency flow. Nexus is our enterprise platform for apparel manufacturing operations. This role owns quality across both.

We are hiring a hands-on QA / Test Engineer to own quality across both products. You will do both manual and automated testing, from writing and running test plans by hand to building the automation and CI checks that catch regressions before they reach users. Test strategy and coverage across both products: mobile apps, web consoles, back-end APIs, and real-time flows.
The real-time, safety-critical flows: live location and audio, and the alerts that ride on them.
Clear test plans and cases from product requirements, plus exploratory, functional and regression testing by hand.
Automated tests you build and maintain: API and end-to-end suites, mobile and web automation, wired into CI.
Release QA: build sign-off, regression cycles, and quality tracking across releases.




Data-privacy and security checks, including that personal data is handled in line with the DPDPA.

Solid QA experience across manual and automated testing of real, shipped software.
Mobile app testing, ideally React Native, and web application testing.
API testing (Postman or a REST client) and an understanding of how the back end fits together.
Playwright, Cypress or Selenium for web; Testing real-time or streaming systems; performance or load testing (JMeter or k6).
Security or privacy testing, and familiarity with the DPDPA.
Testing IoT, BLE or wearable-connected products, or enterprise or ERP systems.
Scripting in Python or JavaScript beyond test frameworks.

Full-time, based in Chennai, in office, with some inter-site travel between the Wualt and CF sites.
