In this role, you will design workload-specific compiler transformations tailored to target hardware, analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, and contribute to hardware/software co-design to improve overall system efficiency.What you will do:- Develop and implement compiler optimizations for specialized hardware- Design workload-specific transformations tailored to target architectures- Analyze application performance and mitigate bottlenecks- Collaborate on hardware/software co-design to improve workload efficiency- Work across compiler, runtime,
and hardware layers to deliver end-to-end performance improvementsWhat we are looking for:- 7+ years of experience with compiler technologies such as LLVM and MLIR- Solid understanding of LLVM internals, including code generation, register allocation, and instruction scheduling- Solid understanding of loop optimizations (e.g., fusion, tiling, unrolling)- Familiarity with hardware architectures (CPUs, GPUs, and accelerators)- Ability to work across abstraction layers to optimize system performance (ref:hirist.tech)
