About the Role:We are looking for an SDE III to design and build self-service capabilities on top of our edge infrastructure platform. This engineer will focus on developing backend services, APIs, and automation capabilities.Technical Requirements:- Strong programming experience in Java.- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and backend services.- Experience developing microservices deployed on Kubernetes or similar container platforms.- Robust understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and scalability patterns.- Experience building production-grade automation platforms.- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform.- Experience building declarative, idempotent automation workflows.- Strong Git and CI/CD experience using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins.- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.- Understanding of networking fundamentals.- Kubernetes platform operations.- Event-driven architecture.- GenAI, RAG, Agentic AI, LLM integration, Prompt Engineering, Spring AI.- Service meshes and API gateways.- Monitoring and alerting platforms.- Distributed tracing.- Metrics and logging pipelines.- Any cloud experience AWS, Azure and GCP (ref:hirist.tech)
