Role Overview : The Braze Campaign Senior Specialist / Developer is a senior hands-on engineer responsible for configuring, building, testing, and troubleshooting complex customer engagement campaigns, real-time triggers, and dynamic API-driven interactions across mobile and digital channels.Key Responsibilities : - Complex Journey Implementation : Build complex, branching, multichannel Canvases using Canvas Flow, decision splits, exception events, and re-eligibility controls.- Advanced Liquid and Dynamic Content : Write advanced Liquid template logic for energetic content, nested data arrays, multi-market pricing and currency, and bilingual copy.- Connected Content and Webhook Scripting : Implement Connected Content calls to external middleware, product catalogues, and CMS endpoints, with resilient caching and fallback logic.- Trigger-Based Event Integration : Build real-time, event-triggered campaigns driven by custom events, such as usage threshold warnings, top-ups, and border crossings.- Technical Troubleshooting : Debug payload errors, template parsing defects, webhook timeouts,



and audience segmentation discrepancies.Required Qualifications and Experience : - Experience : 7 - 10 years in campaign engineering and marketing automation development, including 3+ years of hands-on experience building advanced Braze journeys.- Core Skills : Advanced Liquid programming, HTML5/CSS3 for email, JSON data payloads, RESTful APIs, and webhook configuration.- Channel Mastery : Proven experience building campaigns across Email, Push (iOS/Android), In-App Messages (IAM), and SMS.- Analytical Skills : Ability to inspect API request and response logs, troubleshoot webhook failures, and optimize message delivery speed.Key Deliverables : - End-to-end configured multichannel Canvases and campaigns- Dynamic Liquid code snippets and fallback matrices- Connected Content call scripts and webhook payloads- Campaign technical architecture sheets and execution runbooks (ref:hirist.tech)
