We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Accounting Consultant for an exciting opportunity with our client, Saint-Gobain.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support SAP FICO functionalities in line with business requirements.
- Handle General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Support financial transactions, accounting entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Manage vendor and customer accounting, payment processing, bank reconciliation, and clearing activities.
- Configure and troubleshoot automatic payment processes, including payment runs using F110.
- Support asset capitalization, depreciation, asset transfers, and retirements.
- Work on cost center accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, and cost allocations.
- Handle integration between SAP FICO and other modules, including MM and SD.
- Support financial data migration, validation, reconciliation, and testing activities.
- Configure and troubleshoot validations and substitutions based on business requirements.
- Analyze functional issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with technical teams for resolutions.
- Prepare functional documentation,



test scenarios, and user guides.
- Coordinate with finance and business teams to improve accounting processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Required Technical Skills
- Solid hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and functional support.
- Good understanding of FI processes, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
- Practical experience with automatic payment runs (F110) and payment configuration.
- Knowledge of DMEE configuration and payment file formats.
- Strong understanding of accounting entries, financial postings, and migration activities.
- Experience with validations, substitutions, and their practical configuration.
- Knowledge of SAP CO, including cost centers and profit centers.
- Understanding of integration with SAP MM and SD.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.

Candidate Requirements
- 6–8 years of relevant SAP FICO experience.
- Strong accounting fundamentals and practical SAP configuration knowledge.
- Ability to independently handle business scenarios, troubleshooting, and financial process requirements.
- Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Immediate availability to join is mandatory.
