Role Description The WordPress Developer intern will support the design, development, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites and landing pages for The Tech Bulletins. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring themes and plugins, customizing layouts, optimizing site performance, and ensuring responsive design across devices and browsers. The intern will assist with troubleshooting technical issues, implementing SEO-friendly structures, and collaborating with content and design teams to deliver user-friendly experiences.





This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Web Development, including experience working with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Front-End Development skills, such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, to implement and customize themes and user interfaces.
- Back-End Web Development familiarity, including PHP and database concepts, to manage site functionality and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Web Design and Responsive Web Design capabilities to create visually consistent layouts that perform well across devices and screen sizes.
- Understanding of basic SEO principles, website performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field.
- Ability to learn quickly, collaborate in a team environment, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced digital publication setting.
- Prior project work, portfolio, or GitHub contributions related to WordPress or web development are highly beneficial.
