Role Description The Vice President Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for leading the overall financial strategy and operations of the group. This role oversees financial planning and budgeting, monitors cash flow, and ensures accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.

The Vice President

Finance collaborates with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making, evaluates investment opportunities, and drives cost optimization and efficiency initiatives. Daily activities include managing finance teams, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, strengthening internal controls, and presenting financial insights and recommendations to the executive management and board.



The role also involves partnering with business units to align financial performance with the group’s sustainability, growth, and profitability goals.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Finance, including strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, with experience developing long-term financial strategies.
- Advanced skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in compliance with applicable standards.
- Strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within diversified or group company structures.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, taxation, and risk management frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, financial modeling tools, and advanced Excel skills.
- Track record of driving process improvements, implementing robust internal controls, and supporting sustainability
