Job Brief:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager - Electronics Production to own how Raphe sources, buys, plans and qualifies every electronic component, PCB and raw material that goes into our UAVs. You will build a reliable and traceable supply base, keep BOM cost and lead times under control, and protect research and production from shortages and obsolescence. You will lead a team of procurement,



planning and supplier quality specialists and use data to show what is working.

Essential Skills:

- Experience buying electronic components by manufacturer part number: passives, ICs, connectors, power and RF parts, including packaging, MOQ and reel/cut-tape trade-offs.
- Strong working knowledge of authorised-distribution channels (DigiKey, Mouser, Arrow, Avnet and franchised local partners), and of when and how to quote direct with a manufacturer.
- Experience in traceability and counterfeit avoidance: franchised sourcing, certificates of conformance and control of broker purchases.
- Ability to cost a full BOM at build quantities and flag long-lead, single-source and end-of life lines.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills: price breaks, payment terms, schedule agreements and buffer stock negotiated as one package.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience qualifying and selecting electronics and PCB/PCBA suppliers on technical, quality, capacity, cost and delivery factors.
- Experience in material planning: safety stock, reorder points and shortage reports ranked by production impact.
- Supply-market intelligence on allocation, lead-time trends and price movements.
- Lifecycle and obsolescence management,



including last-time buys and cross-references to approved alternates.
- Export-control paperwork for controlled electronics (end-user certificates, EAR / dual use classification).
- • Background in aerospace, defence, drone (UAS) or a related high-tech industry is a plus.

As Supply Chain Manager - Electronics Procurement, you will:

- Own the electronics supply chain at Raphe, from supplier search to on-time delivery of every electronic component required.
- Build and maintain an approved electronics supplier list with status, scope and open actions.
- Run RFQs, normalise quotations and negotiate price, terms and delivery schedule.
- Ensure every part is bought from franchised, traceable sources, and escalate any broker purchase.
- Maintain the Material Delivery Plan for electronics and catch shortages before they hinder research or production.
- Identify single-source, allocation and end-of-life risks, and set up dual sourcing and last time buys before a disruption.
- Drive supplier scorecards, performance reviews and corrective-action plans with electronics suppliers.
- Share meaningful insights with leadership, such as savings, lead-time trends, shortages and supplier performance.
- Lead and develop a team of electronics procurement, planning and supplier quality specialists.
- Document what is learned about parts, suppliers and systems so the next person starts faster.

Qualification and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related field.
- MBA in Operations / Supply Chain is a plus.
- 6–10 years of experience in electronics procurement or supply chain, with at least 2 years leading a team.
