Role Description This full-time Site Engineer role is an on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Site

Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities related to crane operations and associated civil or structural works, ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and site supervisors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The role involves conducting site inspections, supporting quality control checks, resolving technical issues, and preparing basic reports or documentation on site performance and incidents.

Engineer will also communicate regularly with project management and clients to align site execution with project timelines and requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong on-site execution capabilities, including experience working at active construction or industrial project locations (On Site, Civil Engineers).
- Knowledge of structural and civil engineering principles relevant to crane deployment, lifting operations, and site layouts (Structural Engineering, Civil Engineers).
- Ability to implement and monitor quality standards, conduct inspections, and support adherence to safety and compliance requirements (Quality Control).
- Clear and professional communication skills for coordinating with project teams, clients, and site personnel (Communication).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of construction safety practices, lifting plans, and basic regulatory guidelines applicable to site work.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and site plans; familiarity with basic engineering and office software is an advantage.
- Ability to work extended hours on site when required, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to dynamic project conditions.
- Prior experience in crane operations, heavy equipment, or infrastructure projects in or around Mumbai will be considered a plus.
