Role Description The Sliding Head Machine Operator role at AUSA Medical Devices India Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring sliding head CNC machines to produce precision components used in medical devices, following technical drawings and process specifications.

Day-to-day tasks include adjusting machine parameters, changing tools, performing basic preventive maintenance, and ensuring parts meet dimensional and quality requirements through regular inspection. The operator will maintain production records, report any equipment or quality issues promptly, and collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet output and safety targets.



The role also requires adherence to cleanroom or controlled environment guidelines, workplace safety procedures, and company policies.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in CNC or sliding head machine operation, including setup, tool changes, and parameter adjustments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and measurement reports for precision components.
- Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools for quality checks.
- Knowledge of basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operating practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of quality systems and documentation, preferably within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow standardized work instructions consistently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production, engineering, and quality staff.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru in a shift-based or production-aligned schedule as required.
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die, or a related technical field; relevant experience operating sliding head or CNC machines is highly preferred.
