Senior Project Manager & Scrum Master

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) to lead complex, cross-functional IT initiatives. This role is accountable for end-to-end project coordination, Agile delivery, status reporting, financial oversight, risk management, and delivery stability. The successful candidate will partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, to defined quality standards, and in alignment with enterprise priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish and apply project management and Agile delivery processes that support timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, delivery roadmaps, schedules, budgets, resource plans, dependencies, and governance routines.
- Lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate team assignments, monitor day-to-day delivery, identify resource needs, and remove or escalate impediments.
- Track milestones, deliverables, scope, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies; adjust plans and resources when required.




- Provide transparent, concise, and timely status reporting to project teams, business partners, sponsors, and senior leadership.
- Manage project budgets and financials, including forecasting, actuals tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate communication across enterprise functions affected by project scope, budget, risk, timeline, quality, and resource requirements.
- Facilitate user communication, release readiness, change management, and stakeholder alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing, including readiness, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and business sign-off.
- Partner with Program Managers and senior business leaders to identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities to use technology in support of enterprise goals.
- Promote continuous improvement, team accountability, delivery transparency, and consistent application of project management practices.

Required Qualifications And Experience

- Demonstrated hands-on experience performing both Senior Project Manager and Scrum Master responsibilities in complex IT environments.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification, or active progress toward certification with relevant practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, Agile and Scrum practices, resource management, and organizational change management.
- Proven experience managing budgets and financials for large or complex projects.
- Deep working knowledge of Jira for backlog management, sprint tracking, reporting, and delivery visibility.
- Experience planning and facilitating project governance, Agile ceremonies, stakeholder communications, and executive status updates.
- Experience managing user acceptance testing activities and coordinating business validation and sign-off.
- Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, lead cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

Preferred Tools And Platform Experience

- ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), PPS, or PPM, particularly financial planning and tracking capabilities.
- Project planning, reporting, collaboration, and documentation tools used in enterprise IT delivery environments.
- Experience working with distributed teams and multiple business and technology stakeholders.





Education Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

- Risks, issues, dependencies, and financial variances are identified early and managed transparently.
- Teams operate with clear priorities, effective Agile practices, and measurable delivery progress.

Compensation

Estimated Pay Range Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
