Role Description As an Omni Sports Advisor at Decathlon in Bengaluru, you will provide customer-centric advice and support to help people discover and choose the right sports products and services for their needs. You will greet and engage with customers on the shop floor, understand their sporting goals, and guide them through product features, usage, and care across multiple sports categories. You will contribute to merchandising and store operations, including product display, stock replenishment, cleanliness, and basic safety checks to maintain an inspiring and functional store environment. You will also support omni-channel services, such as assisting with online orders, click-and-collect,



and digital tools that enhance the customer experience. This is a full-time, in office role requiring regular collaboration with teammates to deliver excellent service and promote Decathlon’s mission of making sport accessible to all. Qualifications
• Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to actively listen, understand customer needs, and provide clear, friendly, and solution-focused advice.
• Genuine passion for sport and physical activity, with hands-on experience in one or more sports and the enthusiasm to share knowledge with people of all skill levels.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain product features and benefits in simple terms and interact confidently with diverse customers and teammates.
• Basic retail and operations skills, such as product merchandising, stock handling, point-of-sale transactions, and attention to store presentation and safety.
• Comfort with digital tools and omni-channel services, including using mobile devices, store systems, and online platforms to support customers and store operations.
• Collaborative mindset, reliability, and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak periods, as part of a team-focused environment.
• Ability to stand, move around the store, and perform light physical tasks (e.g., lifting, arranging stock) in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Prior experience in retail, customer-facing roles, or sports coaching is advantageous but not mandatory; openness to learning
