Rajkot, Gujarat Employment Type: Full-time | On-site Jupiter RollForm Machines Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturer of roll forming lines, slitting lines, cut-to-length lines and special-purpose machines, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in industrial machine design. Relevant Experience Candidates should have experience designing machinery such as:
• VMC/CNC machines and machine tools
• Plastic extrusion machinery
• Special-purpose machines (SPMs)
• Industrial automation and production machinery

Key Responsibilities
• Develop machine concepts, detailed designs, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare bills of materials, component specifications and engineering calculations.
• Define suitable materials, fits, tolerances, surface finishes and manufacturing processes.
• Design mechanical systems, including drive mechanisms, shafts, bearings, gearboxes and fabricated structures.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, electrical and automation teams.
• Support machine trials, troubleshoot design issues and implement improvements.
• Ensure designs meet applicable standards, safety requirements and customer specifications. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma / B.
E. / B.




Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven practical experience in machine design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software and 2D engineering drawings.
• Robust understanding of machining, fabrication, welding, casting, heat treatment and assembly processes.
• Sound knowledge of engineering design standards, GD&T;, fits, tolerance stack-up and dimensional tolerances.
• Ability to design machines for manufacturability, ease of assembly, maintenance and reliable operation. Preferred Industry Background Experience with organisations such as Jyoti CNC, Rajoo Engineers, Ace Designers, Tirth Agro Technology (Shaktiman) or similar machinery manufacturers will be an added advantage. Candidates based in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, who are willing to relocate to Rajkot, are particularly encouraged to apply. Suitable candidates from across India are welcome.
