Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and organized Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for fire fighting projects. The candidate will coordinate with suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, process purchase orders, monitor deliveries and ensure the timely availability of materials at project sites.

Key Responsibilities1. Procurement & Vendor Management

- Identify and coordinate with suppliers for fire fighting materials, pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, sprinklers and related equipment.
- Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms and other commercial conditions.
- Develop and maintain a database of approved suppliers.

2. Purchase Order Processing

- Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved material requisitions.
- Verify material specifications, quantities, rates, GST and delivery terms before placing orders.
- Ensure purchases are made within approved budgets and authorization limits.
- Follow up with vendors for order confirmation and timely delivery.

3. Material & Delivery Coordination

- Coordinate with the Design, Tender, Project Execution and Finance teams to understand material requirements.
- Track material requirements and delivery schedules for ongoing projects.




- Follow up on pending supplies and resolve delivery-related issues.
- Coordinate material dispatches to project sites and maintain delivery records.

4. Documentation & MIS

- Maintain purchase orders, supplier quotations, comparative statements, invoices and delivery records.
- Prepare purchase status reports and pending material reports.
- Coordinate with the Finance team for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate procurement records using MS Excel and MS Office.

Required Skills
- Good negotiation, communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to compare quotations and evaluate commercial terms.
- Valuable organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of GST invoices and basic purchase documentation.
- Experience with fire fighting, MEP, plumbing, electrical or industrial project procurement will be an advantage.

Eligibility
- Graduates or diploma holders with relevant procurement knowledge.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchase or procurement is preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication, Excel and coordination skills may also apply.
- Candidates should be willing to coordinate with suppliers and project sites as required.
