Role Description The Procurement Manager will oversee sourcing and purchasing activities for cosmetics, perfumes, aerosols, and pharma ayurvedic OTC categories. This full time, hybrid role is based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and services.

The role involves collaborating with production, quality, R&D;, and finance teams to align procurement decisions with cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.

The Procurement

Manager will track key procurement metrics,



maintain vendor relationships, mitigate supply risks, and support continuous improvement in sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Procurement and Contract Management skills to manage sourcing cycles, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
- Candidates should possess Supplier Evaluation and Analytical Skills to assess vendor capability, pricing, quality, and performance data.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable commercial terms while maintaining ethical, transparent supplier relationships.
- Relevant experience in procurement for cosmetics, personal care, pharma ayurvedic OTC, or FMCG sectors is highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, cost optimization, and basic inventory management principles is preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP or procurement systems and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
