About Grossmann Grossmann is a German machine-building company setting up its team in Kochi. We design and build our own winding and cutting systems for the converting industry: winders with speed and tension control, winding shafts, web guiding and special machines for customers in Europe. We are now building our own controls in India, starting with compact control units for our winders, which we want to produce in series here. You will work directly with our founder, a German machine builder with 47 years of experience, who will train you personally. What you will do
• Design and build control panels for our winders: component selection, wiring, testing
• Draw electrical schematics and panel layouts
• Program PLCs and set up HMIs
• Commission frequency inverters, servo drives and gear motors (speed and tension control)
• Build, test and document controls so they can be made in series
• Support troubleshooting with customers, remotely and on site What you need
• B.
Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechatronics
• Practical experience with PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal preferred; other brands fine)




• Hands-on experience with frequency inverters and/or servo drives
• You have wired and tested control panels yourself
• Can read and draw electrical schematics (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical or similar)
• Good written English Valuable to have
• Experience with winders, web handling or tension control
• Knowledge of IEC / EN 60204-1 (electrical equipment of machines)
