The roleIn ice cream, the freezer cabinet is the store. If it isn't in the right outlet, running cold and stocked with our brands when summer peaks, we don't sell. As a Regional Refrigeration Manager, you will own our fleet of freezer cabinets across one of the 4 regions, end-to-end. That includes how many we deploy, where we place them, how we service and refurbish them, and how we track each one. What you'll be responsible for
• Fleet strategy: build the annual cabinet plan with Customer Development (Sales) and Finance teams, covering fleet size, mix and placement norms by channel and outlet throughput.
• Capex and procurement: own the cabinet capex budget, and work with Procurement on specs, OEM selection and price negotiations.
• Placement and productivity: get the right cabinet into the right outlet first time, and pull out and redeploy cabinets that don't earn their place. Track sales per cabinet.
• Peak-season readiness: complete preventive maintenance and new installations ahead of the summer peak,



so no cabinet is down when demand is highest.
• Service network: appoint, manage and grow service partners across India, with clear SLAs for breakdown turnaround, uptime and first-time fix. Own the service and refurbishment opex.
• Refurbishment and disposal: run refurbishment to extend cabinet life, and manage end-of-life disposal responsibly.
• Asset governance: keep every cabinet tracked and accounted for through physical verification, fixed-asset reconciliation with Finance, and missing-asset recovery.
• Cabinet purity: work with Sales to keep our cabinets stocked with our brands and merchandised to standard.
• Digital and data: drive asset tracking, telemetry and dashboards so decisions on placement, service and replacement run on data.
• People: lead and develop your team and train sales and partner teams on cabinet processes. We're looking for someone who
• Has 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 years managing trade refrigeration assets (visi coolers, freezer cabinets, fountain or vending) in FMCG, beverages, dairy or ice cream.
• Has run a fleet at regional or national scale across multiple states, including placement, service and asset control.
• Has owned capex and opex budgets and negotiated with OEMs and service partners.
• Has built or managed a service partner network against clear SLAs.
• Uses data and digital tools to track assets and make decisions, and is excited to push this further.
• Works closely with Sales and Finance and thinks in terms of business outcomes, not just equipment.
• Holds an engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Electrical or Refrigeration). An MBA or management qualification is a plus.
