Role Description The Screenplay role at Bose Works is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. In this role, the Screenplay Writer will develop original scripts and story concepts for short films, digital series, and social media content. Day-to-day responsibilities include outlining narratives, writing dialogue, refining character arcs, and collaborating closely with directors, producers, and editors to align scripts with visual and production requirements. The Screenplay Writer will participate in brainstorming sessions, incorporate feedback from the creative team, and revise drafts to meet project timelines and quality standards. The role also involves researching trends in storytelling,



audience preferences, and emerging formats to help shape compelling, platform-appropriate content. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in screenplay writing, story structure, character development, and dialogue writing.
• Candidates should possess skills in creative writing, script editing, and revising drafts based on feedback from directors and producers.
• Candidates should possess skills in visual storytelling, understanding of cinematic language, and basic knowledge of film production workflows.
• Candidates should possess skills in research, audience analysis, and adapting stories for digital and social media platforms.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary creative and production teams.
• Candidates should ideally have prior experience in film, television, digital content, or media writing; a portfolio of produced or well-developed scripts is highly beneficial.
• Candidates should preferably hold a degree or formal training in Screenwriting, Film, Media Studies, Communication, Literature, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
• Candidates should be able to work on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
