What you'll do
- Design the hardware setup for each deployment. Decide which cameras, lenses, lighting, sensors and edge devices a site needs, and how they connect, so the CV system gets clean, reliable input.
- Set up cameras and NVRs.
Configure IP and industrial cameras and NVRs: placement, angles, resolution, frame rate, exposure, storage and network settings.
- Build and integrate edge hardware. Assemble and connect Jetson or Raspberry Pi units with power supplies, displays and enclosures.
- Connect CV systems to physical actions. Wire edge devices to relays, tower lights, and pneumatic or mechanical pushers, so a detection can trigger a real action on the line, such as rejecting a faulty part.
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain.
Plan and lead installations at client sites, test end to end and hand over a working system. Then fix hardware issues and keep deployed systems healthy.
- Back up networking and IT support.
Help keep site and office networks connected, and support IT for the wider company when the CV workload is lighter.
What you bring
Must-have
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics, ECE, Electrical or Instrumentation, with 1–2 years of hands-on work.
- IoT components and circuits: working knowledge of common components (sensors, relays, modules, power supplies), how to connect them, and designing easy circuits that make them work together.
- Hands-on wiring: reading datasheets and schematics, wiring and soldering, and testing and debugging with a multimeter.
- Site installation: has installed and commissioned hardware at a real site, not just on a bench.
- Networking basics: LAN setup, IP addressing, DHCP, routers, switches, PoE and Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting connectivity.
