Role Description As a Full Stack Engineer at Yachtlo, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications that power our yacht discovery and booking platform. You will work across the front-end and back-end, implement APIs, optimize performance, and ensure responsive, reliable user experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and design teams, writing clean and testable code, integrating third-party services, and participating in code reviews and system architecture discussions.

You will also help improve development processes, monitor application health, and troubleshoot production issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruvananthapuram.

Qualifications

- Solid front-end development skills,



ideally including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React, Vue, or Angular), HTML5, and CSS3 for building responsive user interfaces.
- Strong back-end development capabilities, including server-side programming (such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java), RESTful API design, and integration with external services.
- Experience with databases and data modeling, including relational databases (such as PostgreSQL or MySQL) and/or NoSQL solutions (such as MongoDB), as well as query optimization.
- Competence in software engineering practices, including version control (Git), testing frameworks, code reviews, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and basic DevOps concepts.
- Understanding of web application security, performance optimization, scalability, and cloud infrastructure (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience building and shipping web applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in office, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and take ownership of problems from identification through resolution.
- Interest in marketplace platforms, travel or leisure industries, or luxury yachting is a plus, along with a willingness to learn domain-specific concepts quickly.
