As a Custom Software Engineer, the typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of project tasks to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to support their skilled growth and skill development.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong skills in query optimization and performance tuning within large datasets.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable data models.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to support data processing workflows.
- Knowledge of security best practices related to data access and management.
Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
