Role Description The Counselor role is a full-time remote position responsible for guiding prospective students and their families through the process of applying for MBBS programs abroad. Day-to-day tasks include conducting virtual counseling sessions, understanding student goals and academic backgrounds, and recommending suitable countries, universities, and programs. The Counselor will explain admission requirements, application timelines, fees, and documentation, while addressing questions and concerns clearly and professionally.

The role also involves following up with leads, maintaining accurate records of interactions, coordinating with internal teams for application processing, and supporting students with visa, travel, and pre-departure formalities. The Counselor is expected to maintain a high level of service, adhere to company policies,



and contribute to continuous improvement of counseling processes and materials.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with students and families.
- Candidates should possess counseling and advisory skills, including active listening, empathy, problem-solving, and the ability to guide students in making informed decisions.
- Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, such as maintaining student records, managing follow-ups, and handling documentation and application processes efficiently.
- Candidates should possess basic digital literacy, including proficiency with video conferencing tools, email, spreadsheets, and CRM or lead management systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge or strong interest in international education, especially medical programs abroad, and be willing to learn country-specific admission and visa requirements.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in counseling, education, psychology, business, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience in education consulting, student counseling, or customer service roles will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet targets related to student engagement and conversions is essential.
