Role Description The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role for upcoming projects across India, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role includes planning and coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring progress, and resolving issues that may affect schedules or costs.

The Construction

Manager will implement and enforce construction safety practices, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.



The role also involves collaborating with project stakeholders on project control measures, preparing progress reports, tracking budgets, and supporting BUILDWURK’s technology-driven approach to lifecycle management.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated Supervisory Skills to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage daily construction activities.
- Experience in Budgeting and Project Control to plan resources, track costs, monitor schedules, and support project reporting.
- Robust knowledge of Construction methods, materials, and standards, with proven ability to oversee multiple phases of a project.
- Commitment to Construction Safety, including implementation of safety protocols, risk assessments, and compliance with regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proficiency with construction management software and digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing urban or commercial construction projects; exposure to lifecycle or technology-driven construction is an advantage.
