About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Business Development & Community Partnerships Executive to help grow VillageNeed across rural India, starting with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

This is an early-stage opportunity to work closely with the founder and help build a village-level growth network.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and establish partnerships with village representatives, local businesses, community organisations, and women's self-help groups.
- Recruit, onboard, and coordinate Village Ambassadors.
- Develop relationships with local service providers and encourage them to list their services on VillageNeed.
- Plan village-level awareness campaigns, demonstrations, and onboarding activities.
- Coordinate WhatsApp and social media marketing campaigns.
- Collect community feedback and share product improvement suggestions.
- Track registrations, active users, listings, enquiries, and partnership performance.
- Provide weekly growth and partnership reports.




- Develop repeatable strategies to expand VillageNeed into additional villages.

Requirements

- Strong Telugu communication skills; working English preferred.
- Good interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with rural communities in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, social media, Google Sheets, and mobile apps.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with a remote team.
- Willingness to travel locally for meetings and demonstrations.
- Previous experience in community outreach, field marketing, NGO partnerships, or business development is an advantage.

These are proposed pilot goals and will be refined together.
