Job Brief:

We are looking for a Assistant Manager / Manager - Supply Chain to convert approved requirements across Raphe into well-negotiated, accurately placed orders. You will keep the total cost of what we buy under control,



run RFQs and negotiations end to end, and track every procured item until it is delivered on time. You will guide a small team of buyers and use data to show what is working.

Essential Skills:

- Strong commercial negotiation skills: price, payment terms and delivery schedule negotiated together as one package.
- RFQ management: issue clear requests, chase responses, normalise quotations and make a recommendation.
- Purchase execution: raise accurate POs from approved requests, secure order acknowledgements, resolve commercial mismatches and track until on-time delivery.
- Understanding of commercial terms and contracts: payment terms, liability, warranty and penalty clauses, well enough to spot risk.
- Solid Excel skills and hands-on ERP purchasing transactions.
- Ability to guide, review and develop the work of junior buyers.

Preferred Skills:

- Total cost analysis: comparing across cost drivers, not only unit price.
- Supplier commercial performance:



tracking savings, cost reduction and supplier scorecards over time.
- Exposure to government or defence procurement rules.
- Background in aerospace, defence, drone (UAS) or a related high-tech industry is a plus.

As Assistant Manager / Manager - Supply Chain, you will:

- Own procurement execution at Raphe, from approved requirement to on-time delivery.
- Run RFQs, normalise quotations and recommend the right source with reasons.
- Negotiate price, payment terms and delivery schedule as one package.
- Challenge quotations with cost breakdowns, should-cost estimates and total cost analysis.
- Raise accurate POs, secure order acknowledgements and resolve commercial mismatches quickly.
- Review supplier contracts and flag risk in payment, liability, warranty and penalty clauses.
- Track every open order until on-time delivery and escalate slips with dates and recovery options.
- Build category strategies from spend analysis for our highest-spend commodities.
- Share meaningful insights with leadership, such as savings, cost reduction and supplier commercial performance.
- Guide and develop a small team of buyers.
- Document what is learned about parts, suppliers and systems so the next person starts faster.

Qualification and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
- MBA in Operations / Supply Chain, or a certification such as CPSM, CSCP or CIPS, is a plus.
- 6-10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
