Role Description The App Developer role at Blue Ink House is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The App

Developer will design, develop, and maintain applications that support the publishing workflow, author experience, and reader engagement. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, integrating front-end and back-end components, managing data access and performance, and collaborating with designers and content teams to translate requirements into functional features. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing existing applications, and ensuring smooth integration with internal tools and external platforms.

The App





Developer will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and help improve development practices within the team.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming, including experience with modern application frameworks and coding best practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in working with Databases, including data modeling, queries, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Candidates should possess skills in Integration, including connecting APIs, third-party services, and internal systems.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Beneficial skills include experience with mobile or web app development, version control (e.g., Git), and familiarity with UI/UX principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a creative environment, communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, and manage priorities in a rapid-paced setting.
