About the Prospect
Texas Instruments is hiring Analog Design Engineers across multiple high-impact product groups, all working at the cutting edge of power delivery, audio, connectivity, data conversion, and high-speed interface technologies. Whether you're an early-career engineer or a seasoned design lead, we have a role that matches your passion and expertise.
Our engineers design the isolated power modules, gate drivers, and analog/mixed-signal ICs that power next-generation systems — from SiC/IGBT-based EV traction inverters and industrial motor drives, to GaN-driven data center power supplies, AI/cloud compute infrastructure, automotive sensing, and consumer electronics.
Why join TI: Own silicon from concept to production. Work at the intersection of magnetics, analog IC design, and system architecture on products shipping in millions of units across high-growth markets — backed by the IP portfolio, resources, and manufacturing scale of a global semiconductor leader.
Open Roles Across These Groups
? Multiphase Power Products (MPP)
Design high-performance, cost-effective multiphase DC/DC controllers and smart power stage solutions powering GPUs/CPUs/TPUs/Network Switches for AI compute. Work directly with leading hyperscalers like NVIDIA, Google, AMD, and AWS on power delivery architectures evolving from 12V → 48V → 800V busbars and Integrated Voltage Regulators (IVRs), pushing limits on efficiency, transient performance, and power density.
? Consumer Audio Amplifiers & Haptics (CAAH)
Develop industry-leading audio amplifier SoCs for phones, tablets, PCs, speakers, and TVs. Work on cutting-edge mixed-signal designs spanning Bandgap, PLL, Boost, Class-D amplifiers,
and digital DSP — balancing low cost, high performance, and execution efficiency for the fast-moving consumer electronics market.
? High Speed Data Interface (Ethernet PHY & FPD-Link)
Design differentiated high-speed SerDes SoCs for automotive and industrial markets:
- Ethernet PHY: Robust Ethernet interfaces for in-vehicle and robotic applications, handling interference, ESD events, and CAN-to-Ethernet migration challenges.
- FPD-Link: Proprietary multi-gigabit (up to 20+ Gbps) interfaces for automotive sensors and displays, meeting functional safety and BER requirements.
Work spans equalization circuits (CTLE, FFE, DFE), high-speed ADC/DAC, digital front-ends, signal processing, and embedded microcontrollers. ? Connectivity SoCs – Central Analog Team (EP BU)
Design analog/mixed-signal IP for BLE and UWB-based connectivity SoCs used in automotive, industrial, and medical applications (e.g., Tyre Pressure Monitors, car access KeyFobs). Own the full design cycle — Architecture, Schematic, Layout, Verification, SoC Integration, and Debug — across ADC, DAC, PLL, PGA, Filters, Crystal Oscillators, Temperature Sensors, LDO, Bandgap Reference, DC-DC Converters, and Comparators.
? Custom Power & Signal Chain ICs
Build industry-leading custom IC solutions for personal electronics — display/touch power, camera PMICs,
charger power products, power switches/muxes, and laser drivers. Integrate signal chain and power components enabling TI customers to differentiate next-gen mobile devices.
? Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) Product Line
Develop ASSP solutions and best-in-class high-performance data converters for Test & Measurement, Industrial, and Automotive markets. Work on chips featuring high-precision signal paths, complex analog signal conditioning, control loops, and high-power delivery subsystems.
⚡ Mid-Voltage Regulators (Mid-Vin Buck)
Design high-current mid-voltage regulators powering Enterprise, Industrial, AI, and Autonomous Driving applications. Collaborate with TI's advanced technology, packaging, and R&D; teams to deliver the industry's highest power density solutions.
What You'll Bring
- 3–15 years of experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design
- Hands-on expertise in one or more: Architecture, Schematic Design, Layout, Verification, SoC Integration, and Silicon Debug
- Familiarity with analog building blocks such as ADC, DAC, PLL, LDO, Bandgap References, Gate Drivers, Power Stages, Amplifiers, or High-Speed SerDes (based on group fit)
- A problem-solving mindset and passion for pushing the boundaries of power density, signal integrity, and performance
What You'll Get
- Opportunity to own silicon from concept to production
- Work on products shipping in millions of units across EV, AI/cloud, automotive, industrial, and consumer markets
- Collaborate with industry leaders (NVIDIA, Google, AMD, AWS, and more)
- Backing of TI's global manufacturing scale, IP portfolio, and R&D; ecosystem
