Key Responsibilities
• Establish assembly and detail requirements for boiler and environmental equipment in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
• Produce design, erection arrangement, assembly, and detail drawings as required to support contracts and proposals.
• Coordinate technical design activities with engineering and project/proposal management to support timely information flow and completion of all phases of work.
• Perform standard calculations in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure drawings comply with proposal or contract specifications and applicable standards, including checks for interferences with B&W; and customer-supplied equipment.
• Verify drawing accuracy for dimensions, fits,
tolerances, and equipment interfaces.
• Respond to customer questions and support resolution of technical clarifications related to detailing deliverables. Required Qualifications
• Engineering diploma with 8+ years of experience, or graduate engineer with 5+ years of experience in mechanical or civil engineering.
• CAD training is required.
• SolidWorks experience is required; AutoCAD experience is an added advantage. Experience with other 2D or 3D CAD packages is also preferred.
