QA Automation Engineer (Selenium & Java) We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain test automation suites for web applications. You will be responsible for creating reliable automated test scripts, maintaining modular test frameworks, performing API validations, and identifying bugs across the software testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Testing: Write, run, and maintain UI test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Framework Maintenance: Build and support modular, reusable automation frameworks using patterns like Page Object Model (POM) or Data-Driven / BDD testing with TestNG.
- API Validation:
Perform manual and automated testing for RESTful APIs and microservices using tools such as Postman.
- Test Design & Execution: Create detailed test cases and run functional, integration, smoke, sanity, and regression test suites.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and reproduce software bugs with explicit steps and logs; collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- CI/CD & Version Control: Run and review test execution suites integrated with version control systems and build pipelines like Git/GitLab and Jenkins.
